The Technical Program Representative (TPR) is chosen by Technical Committees (TCs) to represent the TC on the technical program committees of IEEE Communication Society conferences, in particular ICC and Globecom. A TPC for the Internet Technical Committee has the following duties:

• Attend TPC meetings, typically held at ICC and Globecom, but sometimes also as separate meetings;
• Solicit and submit to the conference TPC proposals for sessions, panels and tutorials;
• Aid in the paper selection process by selecting reviewers and tracking their progress;
• Arrange for co-sponsorship with other TCs.
